Saona Island

Saona is the largest island adjacent to Dominican Republic. It is located in the south of the country, it is part of the Eastern National Park and it is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea.

It is a splendid attraction for tourists, well known for its beautiful beaches, warm waters and charming tropical landscapes.

On Saona island the tourists can see dense tropical vegetation, coral reefs, as well as a wide variety of animals: seagulls, white-crowned pigeon, green parrot (which is in the verge of extinction), rhino iguana, manatees, different species of sea turtles, dolphins and a lot of other interesting species.

This trip is a great way to enjoy the day with your family or friends.

You will be picked up from the hotel by a bus, then for about an hour and a half you will travel to Bayahibe, the port from where we will board for the island of Saona.
